Giordano Dell'Amore Foundation is an endowed foundation based in Milan constituted under the Italian law in July 1977 (but operating since 1967) by Cassa di Risparmio delle Provincie Lombarde. Fondazione Cariplo and Fondazione CRT are respectively founder and co-founder of Giordano Dell'Amore Foundation. The Foundation is member of the "Comitato Nazionale Italiano Permanente per il Microcredito" and of the "European Microfinance Network". Its aim is to provide training, technical assistance and research services in the fields of 'banking' 'finance and management' and 'microfinance' to financial institutions, economic and finance ministries, public and private entities, non-governmental organizations in developing and transitional countries. The Foundation is a non-profit institution and it covers part of its management costs with the returns on its assets. The interventions carried out by the Foundation are co-financed by the beneficiaries and/or by national and international agencies. |
