The Foundation

Giordano Dell’Amore Foundation is an endowed foundation constituted under the Italian law in July 1977 (but operating since 1967) by Cassa di Risparmio delle Provincie Lombarde.

Fondazione Cariplo and Fondazione CRT are respectively founder and co-founder of Giordano Dell’Amore Foundation.

The Foundation is member of RITMI - the Italian Microfinance Network, and of the "Comitato Nazionale Italiano Permanente per il Microcredito"; it is associated with the "European Microfinance Network", and the European Microfinance Platform.

The Foundation is a non-profit institution and it covers part of its management costs with the returns on its assets.

The interventions carried out by the Foundation are co-financed by the beneficiaries and/or by national and international agencies.
